People think if you run in this below freezing, snow covered weather you are either a nut, insane, or crazy...is that redundant? That, too!
Yet it is perhaps the most delightful time to run, especially once the body is warmed. I am gradually increasing and trying with all diligence to maintain my plan of every other day running. We are facing the coldest temps in 10 years! So? People want to make a crisis out of everything, have you noticed that? Keep running...rain, sleet, snow, frozen air....injury, soreness...it's the goal that drives! Stay warm! Totals-2.45 miles- Peace!

I love running in cold & snow! Did it all weekend, I can't just stop training becouse of the weather. And I don't like treadmill's! Crazy? Maybe, but i'm ok with that kind of crazy.
Yeah, but it's a good kinda of crazy - isn't it. Here's to a great 2010.
running in the cold is one thing,
but 1 above more then cold burr!
I've been hearing about your weather! Brrr, stay safe and warm!
We've done a couple snow runs - it's exhilarating!! Enjoy, but watch out for slick spots! ;-)
I went out yesterday and it was awesome until I could feel my chin :) Just need to cover up better next time! Keep it up!
I'm okay in the cold as long as it is above zero with not a lot of wind. The key is in the clothing. I love getting out of the house and into the sunshine in the winter. Enjoy!
You are not crazy! Running in the cold and snow is amazing.
i don't mind running in the cold, but boy are we getting some cold temps! 'ok' cold to me is like, 25+... not this single digit business! brr :)
You have to get used to the cold, snow and ice up here in Wisconsin. I agree completely with Beth, it is all about the clothing and lack of wind. Layers is the key, not bulky.
Good to hear you went out in it!
Richmond never was as cold as some places. The coldest I ran in was 5°. But, I like running in cold weather (not cold and windy or cold and rainy). Missed it this year, though, by moving back to Kenya.
I wish I could run in such cold weather, but my lungs hurt. =( It would be SO amazing I could though...
