Inflation!!!

Today I headed down my beautiful road in the direction of the National Forest, just a short run...some kids had a Kool-aid stand set up! I mean the clientele has to be sparse! The road ends into the forest in about a mile from the stand....btw these homes down here are huge!!!! The one across the street from us is selling for 3/4 of a mil!! They are spaced out by several acres, ex-we have 4.5....So the kids had the Kool-aid prices at $1.00!! Plus they had a tip jar!!! Talk about inflation! What were your Kool-aid prices? Ours were .25 cents w/o a tip jar!
You know what? I didn't have any money.....Sandy and I are going to a Bluegrass festival today so I will drive there first and buy me something to drink...the tip jar? Probably! I love to give!
Hope you all have a great weekend. I put in 57 minutes today!! Having a great running week! Peace!!

Oh my, that is a steep increase from days of old. I guess there must be a hidden demand to match that supply of Kool-aid. (And I had to chuckle at what constitutes an expensive home where you live...here that's a middle-class neighborhood!)

Ha! Our kids around here have lemonade stands to earn money for every "cause" under the sun. It's so funny! The Humane Society, books for their school, the homeless. We like to think they're legit but...they are really cute.
Have fun sponsoring their summer wishes and dreams!

Just found your blog. I like the zen-like quality of your writing. The tip jar at the lemonade stand is pretty funny. They are already making a 95% profit and they want tips too? too funny

Running the eclipse

So I had my time frame off a bit. I wanted to do my longest run during the eclipse but I was an hour early! So it's eclipsing now as...
