Invincible?

Always thought of myself as invincible! Prideful, I guess, just never really had self doubt or allowed discouragement to get to me; however I've come to finally realize there are cracks in the armour. Stress can/will eventually take it's toll. For five months now we've been under extreme stress related to personal family issues. The situation doesn't appear to be nearing a resolution and continues to inflict heartache.
I guess that's what's happened to me over the last 8 days.....a real running on fumes existence. Try as I might I can't shake it......I will keep running and search for the break through.
30 minutes today in the beautiful fall like weather!! Peace!

Sorry to hear the family drama is still going on... hope everyone can find some peace! The weather change has been wonderful (for a whole day so far!) and I hope you enjoy your runs all the more.

Gosh, this is just not good, Mark. This has been going on for too long. I pray for PEACE in your family, just as you send us PEACE with every post.
Keep running on through this and stay invincible. Because you are and it's not pride. It's WHO you are.

Praying that things will improve soon and, that if they don't, God will give you what you need to carry on.

Hang in there, Mark. I guess sometimes we're tested to see how strong we can be - I know you can withstand a helluva lot!! Thoughts and prayers with you!!

Mark, I'm sure running is helping you with the stress that's accumulated from your family situation. But it's no substitute for the kind of therapy and counsel needed to resolve whatever is pulling your family apart at this point. Don't beat your body up just because it feels good. We're all with you as you confront what appears to be a very tough decision.

I'm glad you are sticking to running. Hope there is light at the tunnel sooner than later.

I hope there is resolution soon. Family stress can really beat a body. Hang in there and keep on putting on foot in front of the other!

One thing that helps me a little is to keep exercising and to eat well. Life can be hard. Psalm 27:14

This is the most wonderful time of year! I love the heat and humidity! Yet I still get out earlier due to my advanced age! 4.4 miles! ...
