Hot weather running
I do love the heat! The only problem is it can really kick your butt! Today I was out fairly early and ran really well up until about 10km. Then whamo! I slowed dramatically but did manage to get my 8.1 miles in with a really excellent pace. So I have charted my next ten weeks up to the marathon. Basically the long run is the only thing I charted. I will try to add quality runs throughout the week with some intentional pace runs on Fridays and or Saturdays. I'd like to run some races but they are so doggone early in the morning! The heat can be great if you are in shape. I prefer cold weather running though.
