Making the flip

           So as I age I notice it is taking longer to warm-up. I call this
"making the flip". Going from sedentary to active. I used to hit the road running! Open the door and go! However, the body now needs a little time to agree with my brain.
  Yesterday I managed a 3.8 miler of hills with 3X70 sec pick-ups. It felt good to hit some 8 mpm pace.
   I was looking to rest today. My training schedule is a 3 on- one off- two on- one off- pattern.
 Yet my day is booking up fast for tomorrow and you know how stressful it can be if your running time gets compromised!
